Design and Provision of Tactile Paving

Overview

A one day course designed to help delegates provide for disabled road users in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.  The course includes a number of workshops to give delegates a better understanding of the design and provision of tactile paving. The course is aimed at Engineers and Technicians designing new highway / traffic schemes or carrying out improvement schemes.


Aims and Objectives

The aim of the course is to assist delegates to understand the issues involved in designing and installing tactile paving layouts and to provide delegates with the knowledge, skills and understanding to carry out their professional roles.

The course provides the opportunity for delegates to network and discuss tactile paving issues and to provide advice to delegates on their own projects and improve their design and implementation skills.


Certification

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance.


In-House Training

Please note that this is only available as an in-house training course to be delivered at your offices or at a venue of your choice (to be provided by the client).

The maximum number of delegates we can train on this course is limited to 16.
