The 27 Member States of the European Union have a population approaching 500 million, who between them have access to around 300 million motor vehicles. The use of these vehicles results in around 2 million personal injury collisions, including 50,000 road deaths every year. The scale of the problem is now worse than that in the USA
Pan-European and Overseas experience
TMS has been involved in a number of road safety projects in Europe in the recent past, which makes TMS well placed to assist clients with the implementation of the Road Infrastructure Safety Management Directive, which came into force in 2008.
