TMS has recently delivered Traffic Management Training to the entire surface transportation team at Gatwick Airport.
The team are responsible for all aspects of traffic safety and management on the Airport's public road network serving the terminals, car parks as well as delivery and emergency routes.
All 13 members of staff were successfully taken through the "LANTRA" NHSS 12D T7 Temporary Traffic Management course by TMS trainer Pete Smith who said:
"It was great training an enthusiastic group of work colleagues who were very keen to learn the principles of safe traffic management when they are dealing with temporary arrangements both planned and unexpected on the airport roads. We believe that Gatwick is the first Airport in the Country to have its traffic team qualified to this national standard and they are to be congratulated."
