TMS trainers Duncan Lord and Steve Proctor have just completed the delivery of another Road Safety Audit Certificate of Competency course in Ireland, on behalf of Transport Infastructure Ireland (TII), formerly the NRA.
The course, like previous occasions, took place in the Newstead Building of the Civil Engineering Department at University College Dublin, who are the academic verifiers for the course. 16 delegates attended the five, two day modules between December 2015 and the end of February 2016 and together sat an exam at the end of the course.
The exam, together with course attendance, and two marked assignments, forms the basis for the award of a certificate of competency which enables Irish Road Safety Auditors to take part in Audits and Road Safety Inspections as Team Leader.
The photo shows delegates watching a video as part of the final workshop on the course – “How to undertake a Road Safety inspection”.
