TMS Director Steve Proctor delivered a talk entitled “Safe Systems and Road Safety Audit” at a Conference in Stirling, Scotland on 3rd April 2017.
The conference was attended by over 70 delegates from all over Scotland and was organised by Graham Feest. Topics addresses included motorcycle safety, younger drivers, driving tests, police enforcement objectives, evaluation of advanced motoring initiatives, shared space and national road safety initiatives in Scotland.
Steve’s talk generated considerable interest amongst delegates, not least as he suggested new ways of looking at Police and Health Service Data to set targets for road safety if we are to embark on a true “Safe Systems” approach to collision reduction and prevention.
