TMS Engineers Harminder Aulak and Robert Cyples ventured into the Highlands of Scotland in early February to undertake road safety studies on access junctions associated with the installation of a Transmission Line.
In total, 18 junctions were visited on Trunk Roads during the 410 mile round trip, covering areas such as Dunblane, Pitlochry, Newtonmore, Fort Augustus and Fort William.
Technical Director at TMS Consultancy, Harminder Aulak, said:
“Carrying out technical work for TMS allows us to visit many interesting places in the country, but the trip to the Highlands must have been the most scenic we have ever undertaken. The stunning views of snow covered mountains and quiet lochs and glens were a bonus during the trip; we even a managed a quick trip up the Nevis Mountain Range via a cable car.
Distance is never a problem for TMS Engineers, as we cover the whole of the UK from our central office in Coventry. There are not a lot of places we haven’t visited between Inverness and Lands End!"
