Steve Proctor, Director of TMS, recently presented Tristan Hall of Warwickshire County Council with his Certificate of Competence following Tristan's successful completion of the TMS/RoSPA qualification.
Tristan obtained the qualification after attending the June 2010 two week RoSPA Road Safety Engineering course (RSE), during which his RSE knowledge was tested with a multiple-choice exam.
Following the course, Tristan submitted route study and road safety audit reports for assessment. Tristan was one of four candidates undertaking the Cert Comp option on the June course. Since then delegates attending an in-house course in Northern Ireland have also undertaken the Cert Comp qualification, together with a further five delegates on the August 2010 RSE course.
The Cert Comp qualification has been designed by TMS in response to the requirements of the EC Directive on Road Infrastructure Safety Management. For more information on the Road Safety Engineering training opportunities, please click here.
