Tactile Paving

Course Overview

A half-day training course aimed at local authority officers, highway scheme designers, and other practitioners who design or review designs of highway schemes that incorporate tactile paving or features that could present hazards or obstructions to highway users with sight impairment.

The course covers the purposes of tactile paving, the different types of tactile paving and the correct application in the context of highway schemes, with reference to the current DfT guidance. The course also provides illustrated examples of the correct application, as well as some common problems and errors of application.

Certification

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance, recognised by both the IHE and CIHT.

Course Fee

The fee for this course is £200 + VAT per person, which includes all costs (course notes, certification etc.).
