Risk Assessment for Road Safety Practitioners

Overview:

Road Safety Practitioners are increasingly having to carry out Risk Assessments in
their daily work.  These assessments can be generic within an activity, for example
cycle training, or specific to a location, for example a walking bus route.  This course
examines how to spot hazards, how to identify who is at risk and how to evaluate
levels of risk.  The importance of documentation and Risk Assessment policy is also
described.

This course is also recognised for Phase 3 Road Safety Officer training.
