Removing Pedestrian Guardrail

Overview:

The course will examine the principles and practicalities of removing guardrail. It will examine a number of different risk assessment methodologies for deciding where guardrail can be removed and when it should be retained or provided.

The course will also include London based case studies and an on-site workshop using one or more of these risk assessments to decide whether or not to retain guardrail. Training will be provided by a mixture of short lectures, case studies and workshops. Delegates will participate in group workshops giving a 'hands on' approach to the subject and the build up the confidence to put into practice what they have learnt during the course.

Certification:

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance, recognised by both the IHE and CIHT.
