Temporary Traffic Management for Managers, Designers and Client Officers
Overview:
A 2 day course for Management, Client Officers, Technicians and any person not actually installing Temporary Traffic Management (TTM), but requiring a knowledge of Irish TTM procedures.
Aims and Objectives:
The course has been developed to deliver the requirements of the Irish Local Government Management Services Board and the Department of Transport. It aims to provide delegates with an underpinning knowledge of temporary traffic management based on the Irish Local Authority Guidance document and Chapter 8.
In particular it focuses on the planning, risk assessment and decision making aspects of implementing temporary road arrangements.
On completion delegates will be able to interpret the requirements of the Irish guidance documents, understand relevant Irish road and safety legislation and appreciate their respective responsibilities and duties in respect of it.

Certification:
The course involves workshop sessions to illustrate practical issues and is fully assessed including a test to demonstrate learning and competency. On successful completion delegates will receive a certificate recognised by the Local Government Management Services Board.
