Overview:

Road Safety Engineering is moving fast away from the traditional ways of understanding risk, and into a challenging future of budget cuts, streetscape design, and less regulation by authorities. This means that more than before safety auditors are having to question the ways in which they define safety problems and make recommendations. This course provides cutting edge insight into these new ways of thinking.


Aims and Objectives:

  • To encourage experienced Safety Auditors to ask questions about traditional methods of analysing risk
  • To provide up to date information on current road safety research
  • To provide CPD to enable Safety Auditors to maintain their competency status
  • To encourage Safety Auditors to share recent RSA experience
