Overview:

A one day course to introduce delegates to run off road collisions, road restraint systems, and passive safety devices.

This course will be useful for both road safety audit and design staff working on schemes that require restraint systems due to the nature of the alignment and speed of the road.

  • To describe the road restraint standards
  • To advise on passive safety guidance

  • EURORAP approach to route inspections
  • DMRB restraint system standards

  • Issues for road safety auditors

Certification:

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance, recognised by both the IHE and CIHT.
