High Quality Training

TMS has presented over 1,000 training courses and seminars for Local Authorities and Consultancies as well as for organisations such as RoSPA, PTRC, CIHE and LARSOA (now RoadSafetyGB). Experienced trainers from TMS will present all courses. Where appropriate, external speakers from leading Local Authorities and Consultancies will be called upon to enhance specific course sessions.

All of our training modules and one-day courses are designed to give delegates a sound understanding of the underlying principles of the work areas together with practical experience and knowledge of good and bad practice. Delegates will gain a good working knowledge and a broader understanding of the subject area together with the confidence to put their new skills into practice in the workplace.

Training to meet your needs

The training modules and short courses are all designed to provide high quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training. They are accredited by CIHE and support the knowledge-based requirements of NVQs in Transportation.

Attendance on all courses is generally limited to 16 delegates to encourage active participation and to ensure there is ample time to deal with individual questions. Case studies and small workshop groups are used to give practical experience on each subject. This is mainly to encourage delegates to share ideas and to provide opportunity for one-to-one sessions.

Also the modules can be tailored to run in-house for our clients, if required. Most courses can also be adapted as study tours.

Our courses are designed to provide structured training for individuals with all levels of ability. Mainly from people that are new to, or, wishing to broaden their understanding of a subject, to those with practical and managerial experience wishing to keep up-to-date with the latest developments.
