N9/N10 Waterford to Knocktopher

The N9/N10 scheme involved the construction of 24km of high quality two-lane dual carriageway with grade separated junctions, together with new overbridges and underbridges where the mainline intersects existing routes.

TMS followed the scheme through from preliminary design to construction, and road safety audits were carried out at all stages of design and construction (Stages 1, 2 and 3). This required liaison with the design team, contractor, highway authority representatives and the emergency services.
