M7/M8 Portlaoise PPP

This €300 million Public/Private Partnership scheme involved the construction of approximately 40km of two motorway routes. The scheme included the construction of new mainline, a motorway interchange, grade separated junctions, side road improvements and a toll plaza.

TMS carried out approximately 50 audits on this scheme from preliminary design stage through to construction, (i.e. Road Safety Audit Stages 1, 2 and 3).  The road opened in May 2010.

TMS are also involved in the improvements between Borris-in-Ossory through to Limerick. These schemes provide an additional 75km of high quality dual carriageway and will complete the link between Dublin and Limerick. TMS is also involved in auditing these sections of the improved N7.
