M50 Widening (N4 to Ballymount section)

This scheme formed Phase One of a €1 billion improvement of the M50 Dublin Orbital motorway. The works included the widening of the mainline and side roads and the creation of three fully grade separated junctions. The N4 and N6 junctions were designed as free-flowing interchanges with flyovers, underpasses and loop roads. 

In total TMS carried out over 110 road safety audits at Stages 1, 2 and 3. As the scheme was an on-line improvement, numerous safety audits were also carried out on temporary traffic management layouts, which required knowledge of complex road works sites.
