In conjunction with a commission to write the IHT Safety Audit Guidelines, TMS worked with Lancashire County Council on a DfT funded project to produce a web-based interactive checklist of safety audit issues and control data that can be referred to in the safety audit process. 

Part of this project included writing a MS Access database to analyse three years of GB accident records (650,000 injury accidents). This facilitates the production of specialised control data tables on a more flexible basis than that allowed for in "Road Casualties Great Britain"
