Road Safety Audits of Major Highway Schemes in the Irish Republic

Over the past 13 years TMS have been heavily involved in the road safety auditing of major highway schemes within the Irish Republic.

TMS have worked for a variety of clients, including Regional Offices of the National Roads Administration (NRA), design consultancies, contractors and joint venture organisations (for Public / Private Partnership schemes). Our primary role is to offer independent road safety audit experience on such major projects, to enhance road safety. 

This work has involved auditing schemes throughout the design and construction cycle and we have carried out over 800 road safety audits on schemes on the national route network in Ireland.

TMS have overseen the road safety audit process on a number of schemes from concept through to road opening.  Some examples of these include:

• N25 Waterford Bypass PPP Scheme
