TMS is now actively involved in carrying out assessments into the removal of pedestrian guard railing in the urban environment. 

This recognises that, whilst some guard-railing can fulfil a safety function, excessive guard rail is unsightly and clutters the streetscape.

Training

Phil Cook, one of our Directors, is a trainer on the 'Urban Design London' streets foundation training courses and has also delivered streetscape guidance courses for TfL.
