Our experience

TMS has carried out a wide variety of cycling, pedestrian, mobility and equestrian audits and, since the development of NMU Audits, has carried out formal NMU Audits in line with the Highways Agency Standard.

TMS also considers the safety of non-motorised users routinely as part of all road safety audits. 

These NMU Audits have been carried out with the inclusion of TMS as part of the Design Team for each project, resulting in a detailed consideration of the needs of all users to be incorporated into the design as much as possible.

In preparation for the expected demand for Quality Audits, for which NMU Audits forms one part, TMS has prepared a simplified version of the DMRB NMU process. 

In addition to this, TMS deliver a NMU training course aimed at highway engineering professionals who carry out or supervise Non-Motorised User Audits.
