Accessibility Audits of public areas and buildings

TMS won the contract to carry out accessibility audits of footpaths and other public areas such as beaches, parks, picnic areas and playgrounds in the main towns of County Meath. As well as outdoor areas, this contract also included the accessibility audit of public buildings including:

• Fire stations
• Public toilets
• Swimming pools
• Arts/Enterprise/Heritage Centres

Our involvement in the auditing of public buildings was a new departure for TMS.  This project is now complete, having identified in excess of 2,500 accessibility issues at 61 sites within the County.
