NEW National Transportation Qualifications (NTQ)

CASL/TMS Assessment Centre

In November 2004 CASL and TMS Consultancy were approved by the Open University Awarding Body (OUAB) as a Centre for the assessment of National Transportation Qualifications (NTQ's) levels 3, 4 and 5.

NTQ's - Key Information

NTQ's are competence-based qualifications, with assessment, that incorporates candidates underpinning knowledge and understanding within the Transportation Sector. NTQ's are designed to meet current needs and cover all transportation disciplines including:

Transport Planning
Asset Management
Highway Maintenance
Traffic Management & Control
Systems Engineering
Road Safety
Transport Assessment
Development Control

LEVEL 3

4 Core Units + 4 Optional Units = 8 Units

LEVEL 4

5 Core Units + 4 Optional Units = 9 Units

5 Core Units + 5 Optional Units = 10 Units
