TMS exhibit at the 2nd Annual Shared Spaces Conference

On 25th January 2011, TMS were involved in exhibiting at the 2nd Annual Shared Spaces Conference.  This was a one day conference held at 15 Hatfields in London.

The conference attracted a wide range of delegates from public agencies to private developers, transport planners and place making/management professionals.  The focus of the event was bringing together leading practitioners on how to deliver successful shared spaces.

The latest thinking was discussed on:

• putting value on urban realm schemes
• highway risk and liability
• practical applications of Manual for Streets 2
• the latest research into the impact of Shared Space schemes
• making streets easy to use
• leading edge case studies:  what can we learn from the approach they have taken?

TMS sponsored the event along with CED, Guide Dogs and IHE.
