Kevin Seymour

Senior Engineer - BSc, DipTS, MCIHT

At TMS, Kevin is involved in AIP investigations, road safety auditing, risk assessments, NMU/Accessibility/Cycle audits and offering road safety advice to overseas clients.

Kevin joined TMS in 2005 as a Senior Road Safety Engineer and has more than 20 years experience in the field of Road Safety Engineering. Prior to joining TMS, Kevin worked for a number of local authorities and consultants, primarily as an Engineer in accident investigation and prevention, as well as traffic management.

Kevin has gained wide experience in the investigation, design and monitoring of accident remedial schemes including cluster sites, route studies, mass action sites and area-wide traffic calming schemes. Kevin has also developed spreadsheet skills to assist in the analysis of accident data.

At TMS, Kevin has carried out over 1,200 road safety audits, with many of these on major road schemes, such as new motorways, dual carriageways, grade separated junctions, road tunnel schemes and light rail projects. He has also carried out numerous audits on local schemes, including junction improvements, town centre enhancements, traffic calming schemes and safer routes to school projects.

Kevin has experience in carrying out overseas road safety projects in various countries including The Netherlands and Romania. Clients for such projects have included National and Regional Government.
